Lien Holder information may be entered from the Maintenance menu. You many then assign one of these Lien Holders to claims as you create them.
You go to the Lien Holder Maintenance screen by using the drop-down menu at the top of each screen. While this example shows using the drop-down menu from the home screen, you may use the drop-down menus from any screen.
Use the Financial Institution Maintenance screen to add Lien Holders you will use on a regular basis or to change information for existing Lien Holder records. Once you have added a lien holder here you will be able to assign them to a claim by selecting them from a list.
The following fields can be maintained for each Financial Institution entered into the system:
Name |
Enter the name of the Financial Institution (Lien Holder) here. This field is required (you can't save a Financial Institution record without a name. The Financial Institution will display in the Lien Holder field on the Insured tab of the Claim assignment screen after it has been assigned to that claim. |
Phone |
Enter the phone number in three sections. The program will automatically skip to the next section after you enter the numbers in the first section. |
Contact |
This is your primary contact at the Financial Institution. |
Alternate Phone |
You may enter an alternate phone number. This may be a mobile phone number, but any phone number may be entered here. |
Address |
Street address. This does not print on any reports at this time, but this is a handy place to save this information for the Financial Institution. |
Fax |
The fax number you have on file for this Financial Institution. |
Address 2 |
Use this field if the Financial Institution has a suite number or some other secondary address information. |
Email |
Enter the primary email address you use for this company. |
City |
The name of the city where the Financial Institution is located. |

State/Province |
Select the state or province from the drop down list. |

Postal Code |
Enter the U.S. Zip code or Canadian postal code. zip codes can be entered either with 5 digit or 5+4 digit formats. |

Note |
Enter any notes regarding this Financial Institution. These notes will not print on any reports. |
Again, be sure to click on the button after entering a new Financial Institution or making changes to an existing record. Any data entered, but not saved, will be lost.
