Enabling Javascript

Summary

Javascript must be enabled, on each computer running AdjustRite. If you failed the javascript test in the AdjustRite Diagnostics screen you will need to modify your browser settings to permit Javascript to execute on your computer.

The instructions on this help page should help you to enable Javascript for most computers. Please call our support department if you still fail the Javascript test after following these instructions, or if the instructions don't seem to match your computer.

Detail Instructions

We use Javascript to make AdjustRite run as quickly and efficiently as possible. Without javascript, AdjustRite would either run very slowly or it would be necessary to install software on each computer before you could use AdjustRite at all.

Think of Javascript as small programs that are loaded with each screen to do much of the work that needs to be done when entering estimates and doing other work with AdjustRite.

The following instructions should enable javascript on your computer:

  1. From the top menu of Internet Explorer click first "Tools" and then "Internet Options".
  2. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  3. Scroll down to find the "Microsoft VM" header.
  4. Make sure the "Java console enabled" and "Java logging enabled" boxes are checked.
  5. You will need to restart your computer if you had to check "Java console enabled".
  6. Run the Javascript test on the Diagnostics screen again.
