Estimate Summary

The estimate is presented in summary form on this screen.

Summary hours and prices are displayed for each labor type with an estimate subtotal before taxes.

Taxes are then displayed with an estimate grand total at the bottom.

This page is "display only", so nothing can be changed directly from this page. The totals here tie to the printed estimate.

The summary grid at the top of this screen sorts all time on the estimate by labor type. The total hours for each labor type is displayed with the discount and rate with an extension of total labor amount for each labor type. In the sample below, the estimate has 20 hours of Body labor charged at a rate of $50.00 per hour with a 5.50% discount subtracted for a total body labor charge of $945.00.

The sales taxes are calculated using the rates shown on the Rate Override screen. Tax will be calculated on items identified as taxable which match the tax status on the Rate Override screen - for example if the city tax rate has the parts box checked but not the labor or materials boxes checked, the summary will show city taxes calculated on parts only (as labor and materials are not taxed for this estimate).

The grand total for the estimate will show on the last line of the summary page. This total will tie to the printed estimate report.

Click on the Print Estimate link to create a printable estimate. The estimate will pop up in a seperate window and can be saved, faxed or printed.

Click on the Print Estimate With Photos link to create a printable estimate with photo's included. The photos for this report are loaded from the Damage Photos screen. You get to the damage photos screen by selecting the Estimate menu at the top of the AdjustRite screen and then selecting Photos.
